Window Specialist, Inc., was founded in 1989 by Mark Nowak and Kenneth (Kenny) Ash. From a simple beginning of two men and two trucks, the company has grown to more than 40 employees and a fleet of 18 trucks, with billings of more than $3 million. In 1996, the company incorporated and moved into our office and warehouse at 188 Erie Avenue in Lancaster, New York. The complex was
expanded in 1998 with additional office and warehouse space and a new showroom.Initially based in Buffalo and Western New York, the company now serves Maine, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois and Virginia. We install more than 25,000 windows per year throughout the Northeast and Midwestern United States.
In 1999, Window Specialist, Inc., received the Key Bank Small Business Award from Business First. We were also named "Installer of the Year" for 1999 by Home Depot.
We are members of the Home Improvement Industry Council and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce.
