American Architectural Systems
American Architectural Systems specializes in custom storefront windows, doors and curtain wall systems constructed of the highest quality aluminum. All extrusions are thermally broken and designed to accept glass units from 1/4” to 1 inch thick. Choose from two standard finishes, bronze or clear anodized. Extrusions can be painted to achieve custom colors. Both window and door systems are available with insulated panel inserts in place of glass.

This totally custom designed and built window and door system is ideal for many applications. Whether your application is wood, steel or masonry, American Architectural can design a window or door system that is both the highest quality building product and esthetically pleasing for any taste.

American Architectural system has been tested by the National Certified Testing Laboratories for ASTM E283-91 Air Infiltration, ASTM E331-93 Static Water Resistance, AAMA 501.1-94 Dynamic Water Resistance, ASTM E330-96 Uniform Load Deflections, and ASTM E330-96 Uniform Load Structural Permanent Set. Kawneer
Offers a full line of storefront and curtainwall systems. Both systems are available in painted or anodized finishes. Custom colors are available. Thermally improved frames are available for use with insulated and non-insulated glazing systems. Kawneer also offers a full line of standard and custom aluminum entry doors, ranging from storefront to specialized folding and sliding door systems for malls and hospitals.
 

Specifications:
Our extrusions are made from Aluminum Alloy 6063-T5, extruded within commercial tolerances and free from defects. Typical framing members feature .125 inch wall thickness, with door frames of .080 inch thickness. Snap covers and door moldings feature a minimum of .050 inch thickness. Doors are made with .375 inch diameter steel tension rods fastened by lock nuts affixed to steel plates. Door and frame member finish joints are accurately fitted with flush hairline seams.
