Buffalo Science Museum

August Esenwein and James A. Johnson collaborated in designing the historic structure, which officially opened its doors on January 19, 1929. This building provided a lasting residence for the collections initially amassed by the Buffalo Young Men’s Association, established in 1836. The Buffalo Museum of Science boasts a diverse array of attractions, featuring exhibits on animals, astronomy, the science of technology, and various other scientific subjects. Additionally, interactive and educational children’s exhibits offer hands-on learning experiences.
