Endicott Johnson Victory Building

In 1889, Henry B. Endicott and George F. Johnson partnered to form Endicott Johnson Shoe Company located at 59 Lester Ave. At the time, their workers boasted the Victory Building was the most modern and well-equipped factory in the world. Due to the volume of shoes being made by the company, the mounting scrap was used to make leather floors for comfort in their facility. The company was sold in the 1960’s and the building sat mostly vacant for 50 years. Window Specialist Inc. worked with Winco Window Company of St. Louis, MO. to replace the original steel factory windows with nearly 1,000 Winco Series 3250 historic replication aluminum windows.

The approximate project cost is $2,439,185.00 and is currently ongoing.
